How do we cope in Winter time if you are starting to feel sad or depressed?
I recommend adding these four things in your day (i) Do something pleasant for yourself every day (from ordering your favourite latte to going to the movies); (ii) Move your body or add any form of exercise to your day (e.g. google 20 minute workout- so much to chose from!); (iii) Get some positive social support (ask for what you need from a friend or loved one whether it is a hug, someone to listen to you or advice); and (iv) Do some type of Relaxation (eg 10 slow deep breaths to visualisation exercises of a peaceful scene)
